Law of the Land:Founding

From Law of the Land

Founding a town or kingdom takes more than one player. The mod was set up this way to keep things from getting hectic during wars and to make founding feel like a real act of cooperation.

Founding a town

Run /town create <name> <co-founders>. You name the players you want to co-found with. By default you need three players total, including yourself.

Once submitted, a proposal opens. Each co-founder gets a chat message and can vote with /vote yes <id>. When everyone says yes, the flag pole goes up where the proposer is standing. The proposer becomes Lord and the other co-founders become Nobles of the new town.

Founding a kingdom

Run /kingdom create <name> <style> <new lord> <co-founders> [termSeconds]. You must be the Lord of a free town with no current kingdom. The named co-founders must also be free Lords. By default ten Lords total are required.

On approval, the proposer becomes King. Each co-founder Lord's town is enrolled in the new kingdom. For a republic, the term length you provided becomes the election cycle. For an oligarchy, all founding Lords become the initial oligarchs.

If a proposal fails

If even one named co-founder votes no, the proposal is rejected and the name is released. Try again with a different group, or change your name.
