Law of the Land:Titles
Appearance
Roles can be renamed. A King can rename the four roles kingdom wide. A Lord can rename Noble and Citizen for their own town. The new label is what shows in the chat prefix.
For example, a King who runs /kingdom title LORD Duke will see Lords in his kingdom appear as Duke in chat. A Lord in one of his towns who then runs /town title NOBLE Baron will see Nobles in that specific town appear as Baron, even though the rest of the kingdom still calls them by the kingdom-wide label.
Resolution order, highest priority first:
- The town's override, if any.
- The kingdom's override, if any.
- The default name (King, Lord, Noble, Citizen).
Players with no town affiliation always show as Vagrant. This cannot be changed.
Chat behaviour
Every player message in chat is prefixed with their current title. The /me and /say commands do not get prefixed.
